Your Rights Are Protected
When you purchase from Anytime Parts, you receive full protection under Australian Consumer Law. This means you can expect a replacement or refund if there's a major product failure. You're also covered for compensation if you experience any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a product defect. For minor issues, we'll repair or replace the item to ensure it meets acceptable quality standards.
Quality You Can Trust
At Anytime Parts, quality isn't just a promise—it's what drives us every day. Our team takes genuine pride in delivering automotive equipment and spare parts that exceed expectations. We've built our reputation on providing products that professionals and enthusiasts rely on.
How Your Warranty Works
Coverage Beyond the Law
While Australian Consumer Law provides essential protections, we go further. This warranty adds extra coverage to give you peace of mind with every purchase. Please note that beyond what's required by law and stated in this policy, other implied warranties are excluded where legally permitted.
What We Cover
Every aftermarket part from Anytime Parts is protected against manufacturing defects and faulty materials. If something goes wrong due to poor workmanship, we'll fix it. We'll either repair or replace the defective part—whichever solution gets you back on the road faster.
One important note: this warranty applies to parts installed on vehicles that maintain their original factory specifications. If your vehicle has been significantly modified from its original design, warranty coverage may not apply.
How Long You're Covered
Your warranty protection lasts for:
- 12 months from your purchase date, or
- 200,000 kilometres of driving
Whichever milestone you reach first marks the end of the warranty period.
This coverage specifically addresses mechanical failures in the parts themselves. Labor costs and installation are not included unless otherwise specified in writing.
What's Not Covered
Like all warranties, there are some limitations. We can't cover:
Regular wear - Some parts naturally wear out over time. Brake pads, filters, and similar consumable items aren't covered for normal deterioration.
Improper use - If a part fails because it wasn't used correctly, wasn't maintained properly, or was pushed beyond its design limits, that's outside warranty coverage.
External damage - Accidents happen, but collision damage, environmental damage, or other external impacts aren't manufacturing defects.
Poor installation - Professional installation matters. Parts that fail due to incorrect fitting aren't covered.
Using Parts Correctly
To keep your warranty valid, please ensure:
- Parts are used only for their designed purpose
- Installation follows manufacturer specifications exactly
- Regular maintenance is performed on schedule
- You keep records of service and installation
Other Brands
We stand behind Anytime Parts products. Items from other manufacturers that we sell carry their own manufacturer warranties—check their documentation for specific terms.
If You Need to Make a Claim
The Process
Should you need warranty service, here's what happens:
First, bring the part back to where you bought it. We'll need to see the defective part and your proof of purchase. Our technical team will inspect it to determine the issue and confirm warranty coverage.
If your claim is approved, we'll either repair the part or provide a replacement. This decision is made based on what's most practical and gets you the best outcome.
Sending Parts for Warranty
Sometimes you might need to ship a part to us. If so:
- Package it securely
- Include your receipt and a description of the problem
- Send it prepaid to your original purchase location
- Keep your tracking information
What Happens Next
Once we process your warranty claim:
- Any parts we replace become our property
- You can't deduct warranty amounts from your account without written approval
- If inspection shows the part isn't actually defective, standard service charges may apply
Limitations and Boundaries
While we stand behind our products completely, there are practical limits to warranty coverage. We cannot be held responsible for indirect costs such as:
- Vehicle towing or transportation
- Time lost while your vehicle is out of service
- Business disruption or lost income
- Damage to cargo or other property
- Additional taxes or fees
- Other consequential expenses
These limitations ensure we can continue providing quality parts at fair prices while honouring legitimate warranty claims.
Proper Applications Matter
Every part we sell is engineered for specific uses. Installing a part in an application it wasn't designed for will void the warranty. Always verify compatibility before installation and follow all manufacturer guidelines for both installation and use.
Future Changes
Product specifications and warranty terms may be updated periodically to reflect improvements or changes in regulations. Any updates apply only to future purchases—your warranty remains under the terms in effect when you bought your parts.
